What do you do when someone brings you a dead pheasant that hit their
window? Put it in the prairie with a motion activated camera on it so
you can see what shows up for a snack. None of us expected a Bald Eagle
to come and take the entire thing at once!

Thanks. I've used many different ones over the years going back to the film days. They are great to work with and are getting smaller all the time. The current one I recommend is the bushnell 8MP Trophy Cam.
As your Auntie, I should realize that you are one sharp and sharp-eyed naturalist, but even then,I am amazed at your prowess (not that I'm prejudiced, or anything)!
If you don't see or hear birds on some of your forays, it means that THERE WERE NO BIRDS TO BE SEEN!
